OVERVIEW

Wager is a next-generation investment platform that gamifies investing by allowing users to place small, time-bound “bets” on stocks and funds. Our goal was to make investing engaging, simple, and accessible for both new and seasoned investors.


Many people want to invest but find traditional investing intimidating, complex, or too risky for small amounts. We noticed:

Lack of engagement for small retail investors, Intimidating financial jargon, Poor visibility into potential short-term returns, No easy way to experiment with small amounts.

Wager was designed to tackle these problems by combining the thrill of micro-investing with the simplicity of placing a bet

CORE BENEFIT

Users can wager small amounts ($1, $5, $10) on the short-term
performance of stocks or funds.

They can choose a time period (10 to 180 days)

The app clearly shows estimated profit/loss based on real market data.

• A short, frictionless bet placement flow significantly reduces drop-offs and boosts conversions
